It's personal preferance of how much felx you want (that's why some are made more felexable then others) it dosn't really matter as long as you don't slide too foward or have too much heel lift (none is actully best) _________________ If you are assuming I’m a guy by my screen name, you would be very surprised if you saw me in a bikini

If your bindings are new, they will break in the more you ride them. My bindings ('06 CWB Torqs) were pretty damn snug when I first got them. They are well broken in now. They stay firmly on my feet and give good support, but they don't make my feet go numb like they did when they were new. I'd say somewhere between snug and numb is the sweet spot. |

Ok thanks for all the help.
Has anyone used the board that i have at all? Is it a decent board. The guy that explained it was cool and helped fit it to my preferences pretty good but has anyone else liked it? |

Also im not too big either do you think that this 142 will be a problem for me?? The board i was riding is basically the exact same size but had lighter bindings and a much crappier design then this oasis. My oasis 142 is a little heavier with the bindings but not much then the other one with the crappy bindings that are much smaller. Do you think that the 142 will be a problem or no? Also anyone ridden the oasis 142 from obrien?
O yea im around 5'11" and around 145 but im still growing and trying to put on some muscle/ weight now. |

Thanks for the info. I kinda figured i would be a little small for the board right now but then grow into it a little more. this is the board i had before this. Its a hyperlite offshore, rather old. (Not my pictures just found this online and its the same board).

OK thats good to hear. I hopefully shouldn't have a problem with my new board. It should be a lot better then my old board which i posted above. I can't wait to get out and wakeboard again but its still too cold and the waters still to cold. No dry/wet suit for me. I need to get on the water. Just watched Matt Simms 009 video again and that just inspires me more to ride a board with some pop and better bindings!

Those are the bindings that came with my oasis 142. Any good, are they going to cramp up my feet at all. What really makes one binding better then another when they are using that same type of rubber and not heat molding and other technology? |

it's just that some bindings are more costom fitted for a persons feet then others, like heat molding which molds the foot bed to the shape of your foot , but as long as your binding is not too cheep it's no big deal they should be at least a little confortable, usaly if they are ok when you try them on they will be ok in the water. and if you breack them in after riding for a season an decide that you don't like them then you can replace just them and put them on a guest board or somthing. _________________ If you are assuming I’m a guy by my screen name, you would be very surprised if you saw me in a bikini
