I like the concept and really like the forum league boa boots but my main concern is how well the lacing will hold up. i mean does it ever fail or break quicker than a regular lace boots? and are there any down points on them? it just seems so sketch that the whole lacing depends on a little turn nob. |

my friend had a pair of boots that had the boa lacing, they froze up and he couldnt get his boot off so he had to break them apart. of course he couldve just waited and got like a hair dryer on them or something but still they froze. |

I have the boa on my wakeboard boots and have had no problems. Have herd of other people breaking them or them getting stuck but some places send you an extra set of laces and instructions on how to change them. _________________ Its hard being a chick rider, you have to know how to ride, and make sure your still wearing your bikini after busting. |

yeah that seems o be a major downside if the crank messes up the whole boot is kindof done. Ima lso looking into the burton speed lacing or the salomn lacing system. |

or you could buy a boot because of it's feel and response.... not just a lacing system....
i mean sure, the lacing system has a little bit to do with that, but don't buy a boot just because it has BOA or another easy way to tie it up.... _________________

Just picked up a pair of K2 T1's, they've got boa for the lower internal and an option for separate lower and upper outer laceups with the quick notch (which i put on cause i love having sep. lower and upper)...i've got no complaints on the boa system, had a pair of the Byerlys when they came out first season and they worked great, never broke or anything. I like that the lacing is inside the boot on my K2's, but i suppose that wouldn't really keep the crank from freezing. Hope that doesn't happen! _________________ <insert witty banter here> |
