Some of my friends and I are thinking we want to stay the winter in CO next winter for break. Anybody know of any links or how much this would cost?
Also I need some gear recommendations. Such as what type of jacket and pants I should look for.
Thanks

There are a ton of places in Colorado. I've only ever been to one place, Wolf Creek, which is a pretty small place. Vail and Aspen from what I've heard are the most expensive places. Check out Winter Park though, heard nothing but good things about that place.
Check out Special Blend for gear. Its a little pricey, but totally worth it. I bought new stuff at the beginning of the season and went with Special Blend and I wouldn't go back to another brand. |

I am a huge fan of Steamboat, and agree with Grace on the Vail and Aspen. Winter Park is great too, but gets busy. Loveland is also nice and has a bit more of a laid back local flavor than some of the better known places. |
