really try to ....
1) keep the handle close to your body
2) keep the handle low
3) look to the shore as you land
4) try to continue cut to outside as you land
5) do 5-6 very small 1 wake 180s and then immediately take it W2W
my 2 cents. |

look to the shore, if you're looking down when you land you'll wash out 95% of the time. _________________ Neuston Boards

That might help but also make sure you pull the handle towards your back hip. that will intiate rotation and when you land, let go of your back hand. the well help you keep your body facing the right direction. _________________ Don't Let Me In Your Boat

dude i had the same problem...when you land your not landing on your toes enough...keep edging slowly away from the wake when you land. if you land the 180 but try to stay flat n not carve out you'll wash your edge. _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...

| You need to WAIT FOR YOUR POP, you are most likely spinning off the wake. When you rotate the 180 think of it more as a 200 because you want to with your board at a small angle so your fins can catch. When spinning, always think about pushing your body to the shore and when you land, you want to land with your body leaning towards the shoreline with your knees bent. Good luck |

| I think the 2 most important things to remember are 1-waiting for your pop. It only takes about half a second to do a 180, wait longer than you think you need to. Secondly, definately land on your toes leaning away from the boat. Roate farther than you think you need to. Exaggerate how long you wait to spin and how far you spin. Most people spin too early and don't spin far enough therefore you're off axis and slide out because you're not edging away. |

Stall it out. Wait until you pop as FLBigDog said, get the rope in your other hand and get over your toes if you're popping in your HS direction.
Think of cutting in as going straight and land the direction you were going. Git 'er done bud. _________________
