What is a boom and how dose it help people learn to get up? when I learned non of the instructionals that I read mentioned one. but now I've seen it refered to twice on another site to people just leaning or who are going to be teaching someone to get up. Now I have no use for help learning to get up but I stil want to know.

I think a boom is more for teaching people to barefoot, but I could be wrong.

that's a boom
they're used for barefooting but i guess some people use them to learn how to get up on a wakeboard.

I learned to ski with a boom, but then I was only like 6.

I think the boom was 1st used to teach people to ski, now it's used by barefooters.
you could use it on a board, but it might be better to learn on a rope.
