I've been wakeskating ever so often for fun for almost a year now and I am very intrested in progression. How much help would I receive from buying a skateboard? (Also is $100 for a complete Birdhouse setup a good price?)

it would probably help alot. The foot movements are reall similiar. I wouldn't get a birdhouse though. They are mainly a vert company. I would get a blank deck at your locak skate shop. Just go in and say you want your first set up.

Another great way to progress is jumping on a trampoline with a skate deck (no trucks or wheels), it's really fun too.

when i wakeskated i sucked..so i bought a slightly oversized skateboard and i progressed tons.
