20hr checks still need em??

I read my manual and there is no mention of a 20hr service Obviously Change the oil, and check the bolts, but do you really need to have the 20hr check or do they just want you money still? I heard diferrent things and just want to hear some thoughts. I know some new car engines only have to have their oil changed (so they claim) every 5000 or so miles, and tune up schedules are different. This is my first new boat in a while so maybe things have changed.

follow what is in your manual and ask the dealer what the 20hr proceedure is.
