Earlier this year, I purchased a CWB Infinity board. It came with some "hold-um" bindings. The whole setup was a good deal, as I purchased it from a boat store that wasn't going to be selling wakeboards anymore. They looked decent, and lasted almost a whole season, but they now have a tear in the side of one of them, rearward of the factory "slit" that goes down them. The tear is in the thin rubber part that wraps and holds the parts (tongue, heel, etc.) together. So it's TOAST, right?

Anyway, I need some new bindings, and good ones. I'm a 8 1/2 mens shoe size, and my wife, who also rides, has the same shoe size as me.
I'll be getting a new board next season, and probably new boots to go with it, but I need to replace the torn one right away!

Thanks.

get LF, they are comfortabe and supportive. i have had my alphas for two years now and they have worked fine. theyre expensive, so be ready to get them for as long as you can use them. if your going for temporary, get some crummy ones at craigslist or ebay.

yeah i'd get LF, I love my Exo's just go to your board store, and tell them how much you wanna pay (lower than what you will pay, of course) and try on a few pairs. Expect to pay a couple hundred for anything decent.

make sure and do your research on buying bindings. i make sure and read all the reviews on wakeworld.com before buying anything. ebay usually has some good deals. i also check on the-house.com. i just got a really good package deal from ridewatersports.com. good luck

Thanks for all the help.
I picked up some CWB Mobe bindings from Wakeside.com . The boat store that I bought my board from is getting rid of their wake stuff, and they don't have much selection (and I wasn't going to get another one of the same kind that lasted less than one year!). I'll see how these do.

...of sorts Confused
Well, it's behind a Jetski. Not much wake to slide on.

I'll let everyone know how the new boots do. I'm HOPING to have them in by this afternoon, but I didn't opt for the quicker shipping like I should have, so I might not get to play in them for a couple weeks. Even then, it's going to be breaking in new ones all over again (pass the K Y Laughing )

Actually, we used hand soap, but I thought KY sounded funnier (and we actually thought about using it when we were first learning, and getting in/out of the boots was like giving birth or something). I haven't had a chance to ride in the Mobe's yet, but they just arrived, and I've got 'em installed on the board. The adjustment is much more fluid than the ones they replace, and they have degree marks in them, which I like. They also DO feel cushier than the old ones, but I'll have to be in the water to really get a feel for them.

When do you plan on going out and riding in them? And if you're having trouble getting them in and out you oculd use binding lube.

The new boots worked out great! We had ONE chance to use them before it started getting too cold. Now every time I go out to the garage I see my board on the wall and wish it were spring!
