Tip! Secret to winch gearing: 10-12T/72T/8" ID on the spool

We have 1200' spools of of winch rope for $325.00 plus shipping. Our winch ropes are 3 mm coated spectra with glow technology. The rope has a tensile strength over 2000 lbs, it is coated to protect against abrasion & UV damage, and it glows so you can see it easier in the surf. Great question? Winching as you probably already know puts much more stress on a rope than just riding behind a boat. Our winching ropes are made with a flexible heavy duty PVC coating on 100% non stretch Dyneema fibers. Our winch ropes were developed to withstand much more abuse, therefore are much less sucseptible to UV damage, and have a higher abrasion resistance. We found that a rope is very hard to see in the white wash of the surf, so we also added a glow coating to the rope for those who winch on the beach.

Scott,

I can see how that would be confusing. Spectra is a term loosely used to describe all HMPE (high modulus polyethlene) materials. Both Spectra and Dyneema fall into the HMPE category. Just like how people use the word coke to describe Pepsi, Sprite, Etc.

Bullet Winch Line is made out of 100% non-stretch Dyneema with a heavy duty PVC coating.
