Does the Sunsetter VLX ranging from years 1999-2002 have the same exact hull as the wakesetter VLX???

I'm pretty sure they do, the Wakesetter just comes decked out with all the optional wakeboarding goodies.

yea, sunsetter was more intended for cruising/family. differences will be slight, although im pretty sure ballast was and still is an option on sunsetters. if not, it would make for a really fun project.

current sunsetters are direct drives.
The current v-drives are Sunscapes (non wakesetter)

They both sit on diamond hulls and ballast is optional.

The Sunsetter in 1999 & 2000 were on the same hull as Wakesetter VLX thru 2004. In 2001 the Sunsetter came on the diamond hull which is more for skiing. In 2001-current yrs. you had to buy a Wakesetter to get the wakeboard hull.
