Boat Detailers

Hey all you detailers out there. I have a few questions. I recently had my boat polished with rubbing compounds profesionally to get swirl marks out of the gel coat. I want to learn how to do this myself so I can keep the boat shinny all year. I need to know all the facts. What products/compounds to use, steps/order of operations, what covers to use on my orbital buffer(foam/wool), do you wax after words, etc. If someone would take the time to give me a full step by step process, I'll by you a beer if you come to Cali. :D Thansk guys.
