I have a hard time of stabalizing myself after i do a 180 what could i be doing wrong? i get really wobbly and my board starts changing its direction is it that im not shifting my weight correctly?
*edit*

| Non stretching ropes are "static" lines. |

| after you finish your 180 make sure you keep the handle in close to your leading hip. |

One thing that helped me learn to ride switch was letting go with my rear hand. I ride goofy so I normally lead with my right hand/hip. If I go switch and start getting a little squirrelly, letting go with my rear hand, now my right, usually straightens me right out.
I'm still having some trouble landing the HS FS W2W 180 but I think its more of an edging problem when I land than anything else. I think I need to really edge out hard on my toes when I land and that might help. I'll let you know.
As for ropes, try doing a search for spectra. I bought this spectra combo set up on Ebay for about $95.00 shipped and it seems to be a pretty decent line and handle for the price. If you're still riding with a nylon type rope, the difference will amaze you. It definitely amazed me the first time I rode with a spectra line.

I doubt it, but I wouldn't know for sure.
Honestly, if you're serious about wakeboarding and serious about getting better at it, a non-stretch line is mandatory. I think other people here will back me up on this. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

I'm guessing that new wakeboard ropes are in fairly low demand around this time of year.
Like I said, I got mine on Ebay. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com
