www.buywake.com was having a 36 hour after Thanksgiving sale. I just couldn't resist the 20% off. I went with the '07 Hyperlite Catalyst 116. They were also running a special on the Ambush wakeskate shoes. Buy any skate and get $25.00 off the shoes. Man, I need help. Laughing

As for the board, I realize its not really a "pro" skate, but hey, I'm no pro. Looking forward to trying it out. Cool Cool Cool

That board will be good to transfer over your wakeboarding skillage, but skate style riding will be more difficult.
I rode the Karma 111 For the last bit of summer and it was easy to learn w2w stuff and basic shuv tricks.

Yeah, I thought about sizing, but I figured since I'm 230 lbs (maybe 220 in the summer Very Happy) I'd go with the biggest model.

The Karma 111 is exactly what I was planning to get...until I saw this skate. Cool

HHI Dave, they just focus more on rider owned companies...Which is respectable because riders who own companies post on there frequently...It also helps to fuel the industry and not leave anyone with a monopoly.

Ctipping, Well, that's cool too I guess.

I got the skate yesterday. I'm hoping to get it wet this weekend. Can't wait! This will be the first time I've wakeskated with shoes too. Do they really make a difference?

HHI Dave, You won't roll over your toes. It's a really nice feeling to screw up a barefooted shuv and have all your weight come down on the toes...

Ctipping, Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately the weather's not cooperating today so it looks like I have to wait a little longer to try it out. Sad

Ctipping, Unfortunately there were only two of us on the boat, so it was kind of tough to get any pics with one driving and the other getting pulled. I'll get some sometime soon though. Its supposed to be 70 here on Monday and I'm off that day. Very Happy
