I know he was having some knee trouble a while back but then it sounded like he was coming back...any news about him lately. Havent seen anything about PB in a while

Last thing I heard was late summer early fall. He had a video interview out on the Ronix website. Basically, he was just taking his first wake to wake jump in almost a year... he had dropped something like 35 pounds of muscle.

He is probably working like crazy trying to get back into shape. One thing is forsure...He'll be back!

pooser, parks was deffinitly in phenominal shape b4 his knee injury. if he came off as "round" at all to you, its be b/c of his stature, if you've ever met him you'll know that he's extremely short so that means that when he gets alot of muscle it makes him look "round". when i met him in sept. he only came up to my nose and im only like 5'11''.

and yeh, hes gettin into 360's, backrolls, tantrums etc right now, and when ever hes able to ride decently, Ronix will help him shape his new pro model.

he's comin back, no doubt about it, but itll be up till next summer b4 we hear anything of him.

I'll admit that in his younger days, PB was in great shape. However...in the recent years...he got a little...pudgy. I know he was still strong as can be, but I'd lean more to the notion that probably 20 of the 35 pounds was baby fat.

Yeah. When I saw that dude, he was a bit soft. Oh well, the guy still kicks more ass being fat and with one knee than I ever will.

As RC Parks has never been out of shape. He may have had a few extra pounds on him but no more than 10. If you are strong enough to pull a switch double mobe and half of the rediculous spins he can do, the guy is powerful. Does he have a 6 pack like he did in Shafted, no, but i would say that he is no more than 15 pounds from that and it has definately not limited his riding. This knee injury has also reinvigorated his stoke on wakeboarding, he said its the most stoked he has been to ride since he was 14 so i am really excited to seem the crazy stuff he is going to do. He said a hs bs 10 will be the next trick he focuses on, and i am going to go out on a limb and say se will stick it.

parks never being in shape? bro have u seen old video's like 12 honkeys, and what about the pictures of some of his owc riding without a vest along with the 1080 sequence. he's ripped

LFADAM, it was in his ronix interview i believe that he was talking about the crazy tricks that are gonna go down in the next few years.

at the end. Yes, I've seen plenty of old videos of parks, yes, I've met parks but I think most people have noticed that he's packed on the pounds in recent years. here's a pic from the x-games where he is not looking too fit imo. and wasnt the x-games after his surgery? i didnt follow the details of the story too closely so i could be wrong but i think i remember it being around boat show season.

Well i hope i didnt offend anyone too much. Don't worry guys, I'm sure your signature from parks on your board wont decrease in value if gets fat. Rolling Eyes

FLBigDog, well if thats the best proof u got then im pretty skeptical but dont get me wrong, Id be soo pumped to see Parks do a BS 10 and think if anyone could do it, itd be him.

LFADAM, my grapevine is a pretty reliable one in fact it really isn't much of a vine but as close to the horses mouth as you can get.

Well, I'm situated at the other end of the horse but I'm sure I read an interview with parks where he said the BS10 had his name on it.

I was just reading through this thread and my daughter was looking over my shoulder and said "ewwwwww, he's fat." Doesn't appear to affect his riding. Looked plenty plump in "counterfit this" and his sequence was amazing.
