Luckily I have a four slice toaster. I put one paw in each part of the toaster and made sure to toast them for equal lengths of time. The tricky part was actually cover the entire paws withbutter. I was able to fashion somewhat of a butter cast for each paw. After several attempts at gathering cats and horrific scratches on my arms and face I have concluded that you could not get a person to change the cats on your car nor rotate your cats when needed. That baby who is used in the tire commercials would also get thrashed sitting there in a pile of cats.
One more thought...how would a cat land if it had no feet? _________________ "DDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG"

when dropped mustard side down the bread landed mustard side down form both the 2nd and 3rd stories.
when dropped mustard side up the bread landed mustard side up from both the 2nd and 3rd stories
when dropped parallel to the ground the bread landed mustard side up from both the 2nd and 3rd stories. |

Steven Wright. and i found it on http://www.geocities.com/funnyquotesuniverse/

If you buttered both sides of toast, wouldn't that end up being a huge crouton?
What would happen if you stuffed the cat full of buttered toast? |

You guys are missing some very important common variables here.
The toast has to have one buttered side, one normal side, only then will it fit into the category of 'buttered toast'. You could also include Peanut Butter or Jam or whatever and it would not alter the results, for this is based on the implied concept that you always get screwed if you drop a piece of toast w/ something on it. Cheese Pizza may even produce the same results. |

Did you know that you can grab a cat by the tail and swing it like a wind mill 10 times and the tail will pop off! Try, and let me know how it works. _________________ "DDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG"

Alright guys, the reason that toast always lands butter side down is because of the weight. Therefore, the side thatthe cat is on will land on the ground, because it has more weight due to the cat and cats always land on there feet. Thats a double factor that strikes out the factor of butter on the other side. _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

WOW... ya'll are getting too technical for me! Why don't we just drop some cats and buttered toast off a building and see what the outcome is. I already killed my cat trying the swinging it around by the tail ten times thing, so we'll have to use somebody else's. _________________ If my above post offends you in any way, simply ignore it. Mr. C, if you had read thru this post you would have read the one that says your weight does not affect the force exerted on you by gravity. my theory is that if i were to drop a cat with buttered toast off a building or object. the universal forces that cause toast to land butter side down and cats to land on there feet would counteract each other and they would begin rotating on an axis perpendicular to the ground and continue to accelerate until they reached a terminal velocity of the speed of light squared at which point they hit the groumd and create a wormhole that leads to a paralel dimension wher neither cats nor buttered toast exist. Hypothetically speaking of course. (I shuld probly be doin homework now ) |

Well weight doesnt, by mass does. My theory has now been revised, and it now conforms with the laws of physics, and all that is left is for it to be proven.
Thanks for the smileys _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

| I think you should take two cats and tie them together by their feet so that they are belly to belly. This would be the best answer. |
