Well man it depends what you like. My snowboarding playlist for the year includes (but it not limited to):
-Fall Of Troy
-Yesterday's Rising
-Evergreen Terrace
-Norma Jean
-Zao
-Dream Theatre
-The Bronx
-Bear Vs. Shark
-Fight Paris
-Long Beach Dub Allstars
-Sublime
-Rage Against The Machine
-Gym Class Heroes
-Jurassic 5
-Mobb Deep
-Westside Connection
-Three-6 Mafia
Personally, I prefer either rap or ska/reggae as pre-ride music to get me in a good mood and while riding, something fast and heavy is always nice. _________________

Widespread is a good chill/relaxing band. but I don't think I can ride to it.
I either like riding to rap or hard rock/punk. Reason is this. When I ride to rap it almost feels like I'm dancing. You get going and everything just seems to flow with the beat. When I listen to rock I tend to just charge and go as big as possible. All depends on what your into and how you like to flow with your riding.
BTW, bakinchesapeakewakes, I see your from Baltimore, me too. check out www.dcwake.com _________________ I ollie six mile an hour bouy's. |

i work just north of edgemere. you got a boat? i just sold my 2001 supra launch last march(06) and bought harley.. all my riding partners got married. and gettign a crew together was dam near impossible. this was the first summer i didnt strap a board on my feet in over 10years. in college i was riding 5 times a week in north carolina. then back here we rode aboutthe same. then the launch became a boozing vessel and someone was goonna get hurt.
anyway.. GOT A BOAT?? _________________ "I GOT MY WAY AND YOU GOT YOURS"

Its not that its 90%+ punk... its 90%+ music with hard rhythmic beat.. i ride to plenty of rock or rap or whatever else so long as its got a good beat i can ride to. If its something more chill and too slow for me to get stoked over, it comes in handy during our last sets at sundown wakesurfin for sure... |

bakinchesapeakewakes, SPAM SPAM SPAM! Just kidding, but anything that's fast or has a nice hard beat is something to get stoked to. The tunes in my boat are carefully balanced with reggae (keeps you in a good mood), rap (gotta have that gangsta side when you ride), punk (gets you a little aggressive), southern rock maybe (just damn good)
BoarderX, "Closer to the Sun" has some nice guitar work. "Somebody" and "This Joint" are just amazing too. It's good stuff! _________________

Widespread Panic is a band that has been around forever. They are along the same lines as Greatful Dead and probably have just as big a following. Check them out definately a unique sound and it is awesome chill music. _________________ I ollie six mile an hour bouy's. |
