Anyone here bowl?

I moved to Seattle and was bored. I stayed home most every weekend, unless I had my kid. Then we'd go out a lot. But since I stayed home a lot, my dad thought it'd be cool if I was in a bowling league. So he signed me up a few months ago.

I started averaging 105. Now my average is up to 141. Last night, I had the best series I've ever had. I bowled a 214, 165, and 220. I won high game (scratch + handicap) all 3 games (handicap = 79)! Not too many people put money in the pot, so I only won $63, for all 3 games. But, I've never bowled 2 200 games in one night before. Nor, had I even won 1 high game, let alone sweeping the night w/ 3 high game wins!

my good friend's parents own a bowling alley, so we always end up chillin there. after the dance we all went there and i love his parents so much!! we had a blast. but, we all duckpin bowl because the rest of us suck.

when I was 18 ,I booked 175 ave in 3 leages high game 268 ,had many 650 seires,when I was a kid there was a lane about 1/2 mile from the house ,quit when I was 19 when I moved to the beach.
used a 16 lb.ball drilled finger tip. Cool

but seriously bowling is good stuff, my highest was 195 in 5 pin... never played 10 pin before because there arent many 10 pin alleys around here

I bowl occasionally, not seriously though. I average about 100.

my dad used to be a "pro" bowler, im not exactly sure like up to what degree, but i know he has bowled some perfect games, back in the day.....he has a bad back now, and cant do it, but he used to be really good, so i have heard

My roomate is not in a league but when we hit the lanes he usually averages around 190-220. I just figured out how to get the hook shot thing to work for me so...

I bowled a 158 two games in row quite intoxicated... pretty impressive huh.. yeah dont ask me how I did it!

Yeah, I think I get better the more beer I have when I bowl. If I'm sober, I'll be in the 100- 105 range. If I'm wasted it will be anywhere from 120-150. It's a fun thing to do with friends every once in a while.

We bowl every once in a while, I suck for sure....I think my highest ever was 120. Two weeks ago we bowled, I gotta 62.....It was sweet! Laughing

Right, I Average 185ish when i was bowling on a league.. but i havent bowled on a league in two years so it gone down some.

So what 's everyone's high score - scratch. Mine is 259. For some reason ended up bowling in a league w/majority seniors...boy, were they impressed.

I use to bowl seriously. I placed 2nd in scratch for singles and 5th in scratch for doubles in state this past fall. I don't bowl anymore though... dunno why, i just kind of... stopped going.
