wakeboard rack info

Hi guys!

I wanted to buy my boyfriend a wakeboard rack for Christmas this year, but I have a couple questions. What is a good one to buy? Does he need a tower on his boat for all racks? Do I need to find out his boat specifications before I can purchase one?

For most racks, yes he would need a tower. I've seen a couple that will fit on pylons, but not that many. You wouldn't necessarily need his boat specifications, but you would need to know the diameter of the tube that the tower is made of...so the rack will fit on the tower securely.
Some of the bigger brands are Skylon, Titan, and XTP. If you need any more details, let me know.
