Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to any moms we have on here! I also need some help... I have to run out and get something for my mom last minute, anyone have any suggestions of something diffrent. I could go with the flowers and a card, but I wanted to do something diffrent. Any ideas? Thanks! -Crissy Very Happy

I got a card, a gift certificate, and some mint gum with a note that said, "take a hint."

mothers day here is pretty sucky. i've spent alotta time with my mom in the hospital today (since 4am) because my great-gram had another heart-attack. but, tonight we're have a cake for mom and then her & i are going back to the hospital for a lil while.

that sucks, my grandpa had open heart surgery a while back. I was afraid to hug him cuz he had this huge scar right down the middle of his chest. That kinda stuff is no fun at all.

no its not. but i mean, she's 93 and this is her 4th heart-attack. her body is just getting too weak. she's got alotta fluid in/around her lungs and heart. her heartbeat is irregular, and there's really not much they can do to help her

off the subject. but crissylicous whats with the rebel flag. dont you think its a little negative. and dont say its heritage. if i was german and i had a swastika icon wouldn't you think that would be weird.

yeah she hot, but she gonna get skin cancer and look like a leather shoe. i still get the whole rebel flag thing

just because she is tan doesn't mean she'll get skin cancer

Josh~ it just means that she's "more" suseptible to getting skin cancer than the people who do tan easily. Confused

back to the mother's day thing. i was just doing a school project over at a friends house and he picked up a little turtle for his mom. he said he found it in chinatown Confused

i thought that was a pretty original gift.

my friend had a 3 legged turtle.. he was sssoo badass - we called him killer

the turtle is really small. its a little bigger than a golf ball. he said like some guy kinda "gave" it to him in chinatown and they are illegal to sell and they spread disease or something. but this guy is a little wacky. he jumped off this balcony in gym class and almost got expelled the other day.
