I am not sure what to get. The 2007 oak's will be comming out soon and they seem really nice, but they are 210. Right now I have 120$$ and a guy is selling me a gator for 100. Its a 2005 mcguckin, but only a 2005 because when he got it the 2006's were out of stock. It has only been ridden once, and by the pictures he sent me it does look brand new. I dont have a job and 100$ is a big difference for me, so im not sure what to do. This would be the first wakeskate I used so yea. 100 for a 2005 mcguckin or 210 for a 2007 oak? _________________ 2 Hands Working Do More Than 1000 Hands Praying |

| honestly, if it's your first skate, don't blow a whole lotta money on it. You don't even know what the sport has in store for you yet anyway, so play it safe and upgrade when you need to. |

| the drew mcguckin board is a solid board anyways, it will be very similar to the oaks, although i don't know about the quality of gator boards construction, but the ride will be fairly similar |

gator makes some nice decks, and if its in as good of shape as you say thats a good deal, the differences between those two shapes are only appearant to somebody who has been riding for a long time and is pretty good, I say bag the gator and take the money you save and put it in a piggy bank to upgrade later if you like wood you might want to look at Sattelyte's Jeff Engen promodel its a really good stable shape and weight and it is the toughest wood board I have ever seen (aside from an Omen Revolt, or Effigy) _________________ TEAM PIRATE, AAAARRRGGGHHH YOU READY?
