I don't understand the question
Are you asking why CWB is more expensive than Hyperlite, Ronix and GB? _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

Any CWB lover will tell you it's because they're a bazillion times better than every other board manufacturer, they're SO much more innovative, and they NEVER copy any other board designs. So they have to tack an extra $100 to every board.
I'll just tell you that I don't know why but if people are willing to pay that amount then they'll keep selling them for that amount. |

They all look to be about the same price to me, or at least within 10% of eachother. The CWB pro model boards are $419 on Buywake and Hyperlite 3-ds is $387 but it isn't a pro model anymore. Last year the 3-ds was selling for $400+ but only because it had Chad Sharpe's name on it.
Also if your looking at the CWB Platinum line, they are more $ because of the construction. Similar to when Hyperlite used to make honeycomb and charge 25% more because of the honeycomb core _________________ Does this rag smell like chloroform?

As long as people keep buying them for that price, then they'll keep selling them for that price. But i don't know why they are sold for more other than the reason I just said. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

RC, you've got to be talking about the Platinum series.
If that is the case, the PT boards cost significantly more to make as there is a decent amount of carbon graphite used in the construction.
Otherwise, they are priced in line with the other MFGs. You may see one shop price at MAP and another at MSRP, but that would be the only difference. _________________
