I think you have the basics of a good video, but in my opinion, lay off the rewinding of clips and the flashing. The camera work could be a little better too. As for the music, all the songs seem to be from a wakeboard movie - I would try using some more original music.

On a positive note, Rusty Prince has some sick tricks, especially that first BS 1 that he does, I LOVE it. His roll to reverts are huge!!

yeah I understand what you mean. Im not able to get chaseboats and stuff so I basicly have one camera angle to do. nxt summer im gonna try a sea doo camera shot though. and as for the music, yeah some of it was from other wakeboard films, but I didnt use it becuase of that i liked it and wanted to put the tricks to a good beat.
and to the rewinding and flashing, this was sort of a like demo video for friends and my media teacher showing I could put sumthing together and edit, so I used several things. my next one will be better dont worry lol
Thanx for the comments

-yeah rusty's good lol

By using music from BOOMBOX, I could see how one would compare such an amatuer vid to a work of art. Use original tracks biahh

not bad though

The rewinding and flashing reminded me of Shane's section in Boombox.

not too bad. it could have easily been compressed from 6 min down to 2 or 3 min though. i like rusty's riding. him and i are at about the same place as far as skill goes so it was cool watching him ride.

oh yeah and speed the boat up a bit too.

the flashing was annoying as crap, and every single song in there was used by a nother video.

that gives you 2 things to work on.

but besides that, it was a pretty solid riding vid, keep up the good riding.
as for the editing... i'll let ya work on it Razz

The flashing is insanely annoying and you rewind to play back the same thing way too much. But other than that it was a solid video. You should probably work on your videotaping too.

ridings not bad. The last guy was pretty good, i liked the rolls to revert. But the whole thing was just way over edited. I think most people on here would agree that the best editing is the least editing. Just cut up your clips and maybe add some tansitions, but only stuff like fades, not the crazy ones where it like spins in like some sort of news break. Definately no more flashes or reverses. Slowing down clips is ok, do it right as the rider leaves the lip of the wake and dont slow it too much. I dont mean to seem like I am insulting your video. Everything I wrote above is just what I have observed from the videos I have watched on here. I have also noticed that videos look alot smoother if the riders links 2 3 or 4 tricks together. I like that alot more than the look of cut up shots of single tricks

Guess I'm with everyone else on this - the rewinding and flashing was a little overdone and annoying. Other than that, a good vid.

I personally liked the intro..with the flashes and occasional rewind. I thought it was kind of artsy, and I enjoyed it. It was a little long, but we all know how long some people are *cough* David-d *cough* Craig-R Smile I liked it though...I think the next few you do will be really good...keep em coming!

-Keith
