ok first off i couldnt find a thread that compared these two boards so.....

i am a total noob and i have a LF evo which i like O.K.

but i rode one of my friends board (older byerly) and i really liked the 3-stage

but i really dont want a Hyperlite i have rode some and i like the loose feel of the LF boards

so what is the difference in the PS3 and the Substance

i want the big pop for big grabs and what not

Is there a difference in pop?

and plus i know i dont need a new board yet i can only do W2W somethimes( keep sliding out) but would like to know which boards i want to ask a local dealer to demo

i am probably wrong about most of this and yall all are thinking this noob had been riding for only year can only do W2W and wants to buy a pro board HAHAHA!!!! yea i know but thats just me Rolling Eyes

You just gave us two boards to recommend for you, ask the dealer if you can demo both so you can find out what YOU prefer, rather than what we prefer.

Try out the Omega too. It is a great board for progressing and even top notch riders. It has a similar feel to both the substance and the PS3

The substance and PS3 are very similar. The PS3 is a little faster, with maybe not quite as much pop, but softer landing. If you look at the bottom shapes, you will notive that they are both very much alike.
