d22, Damn I never would have thought about that.
Snowboarding and skateboarding definatly helps, and for me, I wrestle so I've got good endurance, good flexibility, and I'm used to torquing my body in the weirdest postitions as quick and smooth as I can, plus, I'm used to spending a bunch of time on my back (I know I'm going to get it for that one )
Different sports definately can't hurt anything, as long as it keeps you in shape it gives you an advantage. |

Except no matter what you do, you can't go smoothly into the water with a board on your feet Ouch. |

I play tennis, which definitely helps with endurance. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

| I know some chick that has never skated, surfed, or anything to do with a board for that matter, and she was a natural at wakeboarding. |

I took a diver from U. of GA wakeboarding and he was close to landing tantrums second time out. He also snowboarded some, but he was by far the best beginner I have ever seen. 10meter platform divers have the nads and aerial body control for wakeboarding once they figure how to edge.
I would think any type of gymanstic background would be a big plus. |
