hey im just looking for opinions on wat type of wakeskate to get. i had a scape 117 but it ive had 3 and theyve all delaminated so i think im gonna get a composite deck. I was also looking at bi level decks and im not sure wat to do.. are they just gonna delaminate to casue there wood. Ive been doing monstly flat tricks not alot of w2w stuff.

There are many threads that discuss wood vs. composite skates on this forum and www.wakeskating.com; the search button is your friend.

But anyway........I assume you mean you have a scape 116; I used to have one, and I don't think they make a 117. The scape 116 is huge compared to most skates (116cm = about 45"). Most riders these days are riding somewhere between 39" & 41"; I see 41" more than anything.

The best composite decks out today are integrity & omen. (Omen is actually a wood deck covered with composite.) They are more expensive than wood, but will last virtually forever, unless maybe you're doing some serious rail riding.

I hear that the bi-levels give you lots of snap on your ollies (never rode one), but they are wood, and will break down in time.
