So i left orlando at 8:00 this morning and arrived at my house at 6:00 P.M.

Amassault was one of the best events i had ever participated in or even been to. Lots of people were there, throwin down at the project, grand time.

First day i took two boat sets. On my second, Parks was in the boat while Mike Ferarro was driving. I landed my first S-Bend that run. Very Happy

The next day, sunday, i was the first one out only to bust my chin open on another S-Bend. so i rode down the rode to a bait and tackle shop and got it sewed up real nice. (jk, i did go to an actual medical clinic) got the stiches, and went back to the Projects and took my second set. I couldnt land another s-bend that day fro some reason but it was still awesome.

We rode/ripped/shredded/gnarlized (jk)/w/e u wanna call it...chugged about 2000 red bulls, played on guru boards, hit the o' so famous Projects Rail Course, and basically jus chilled and hung out.

The entire event was brilliant in itself and pushed every rider there to get better.

P.S. the new Ronix stuff is sick. they didnt have any there except the Covenant (and it was sick) and one guy came in with a One board. Performance had a pair of Cell boot i tried one, they were a little tight due to my large foot but beside that they were incredible. No question about what im riding for 07.

It was definitely a sick event. So much better than a contest, they dont even compare.

I don't think they will do anything like this any time soon, because this was to recruit new riders, so they should still be on board next year.

anyway, i managed to get some video on sunday. i'll post that soon.

pps... the new gear was sicker than sick. they have some crazy edge schemes on their boards. bindings are light years ahead of the game. they feel identical to 32 snowboard boots (lighter than feathers). time will tell, we'll see what everyone is riding this time next year.

RC
you are a legend! i know who you are now. you should get an award for going for it! i watched you from the shore after you got back from the stiches and you didn't back off at all. was that an sbend you were trying? your mom was standing next to us and she wasn't happy.
you rock!!!!!!!!

whynot, thanks...but yeh, i had landed one first day and then on the second day mike ferarro brought out the camera to film it and i had forgot to take my watch off. i was the first boat out the second mornin and i hit my chin on the watch on a s-bend attempt and went and got 5 stiches.

so when i got back i was listed for teh 3rd boat too and my mom said absolutly no more s-bends for the day (shes been a nurse for like 21 years so she gets paranoid) so i made a point to try those others right in front of the crowd where she could see it. Paul gave me the badass award for the weekend. Very Happy i was stoked.

Here is the video of your crash. I think you hit your knee on your chin and not your watch.

RC, I saw you bust your chin from shore. I was talking to somebody and just happened to glance at the boat lake at the right time. It deffinately made me cringe.
