I watched a buddy 2 weekends ago go up for a babkroll that looked more like a backflop. When a came around to pick him up, his binding had busted from the screws completely. the plate was just shattered. I say shiddy landing + shiddy bindings = time for new bindings. These are the bindings he has...

I blew out 4 pairs of Watson bindings within 4 months. Just landing with your foot teaked or on the tail of the board seemed to crack the soles completely in half. I switched to transits after that, they've held up great, so did my 05 sphinxes.

i had a freak landing and snapped my board about 10 inches along the seam between the top and bottom of the board - it was a new board too - krown sin 138. i landed on the opposite crest of the wake. i went out and bought a better board so it worked out for me anyway.

LF has a one year warranty on bindings, I got all of my new watson's for free, and they even gave me money when I switched to the transits!

Maybe I'm not riding hard enough lately. I've busted one binding in my day - came down for a hard landing out in the flats and when I hit, a (rusty) screw connecting the sole and the plate planted itselk into my heel. Needless to say, I retired those old rubber things and my heel recovered

Hmmm broken boards? Yep done it 3 times in the past year. First time on a HSFS360, normal landing, just snapped. Second time on the awesome 06 replacement board, HSBS360, landing really heavy on the tail, snapped. Most recent was about 2 weeks ago. Poked out wake to wake stalefish, normal landing, loud pop, snapped.
Sucks when it happens cause you have to start bumming boards off your bros, but when the maker hooks you up with a new set-up its the best feeling in the world. Here is a picture of my most recent board split almost in half, enjoy. You can kind of see my old Transcend in the back, the crack wasn't as severe.

no, but I came by early in the summer with my Prostar 205 to measure for a bimini and there was a waiting list of like 10 weeks. Anyway, let me know when you clear up this winter and I'll get you to put a bimini on.

They say those CWB boards are solid but I snapped my Marius on a Roll to Revert. It looks similar to the Transcend above. Of course I am 6'2" 225lbs and try to go as big as possible.
