If you ride behind a decent wake I would say you're tripping too soon. Also you don't need to take a super huge cut. The rotation is pretty easy to get around. I didn't start landing them until I started taking smaller cuts. Then when you have it down you can get on your rails and go big.

But that is a common problem with tantrums -- not waiting for the pop. Wait until you're at the top of the wake to throw your head back.

well, never now that all of the ramps are closed. I used to take my boat out to lavon a lot but I sold it in June. No one I know rides lavon so I haven't been since then.

I was having trouble getting enough pop on my tantrums as well until I started holding my edge longer. Just make sure you don't flatten out until you AT LEAST hit the wake. I tried everythig and would sometimes get it, sometimes wouldn't. Started holding my edge until I got the base of the wake or partly up it and the first few times waaay overrated because I had so much time in the air and was used to just hucking it as hard as I could. Only problem now is sometimes not getting squared up in time and doing a 180.
