I have a 13 yr Daughter. I need to put her on a better board and one better suited for her size. She is only about 70lbs and 4'8". I'm interested in getting a board that can grow with her, even though she will only top out about 5'4" and a 110lbs if she is anything like her mother. Any suggestions?

If only you'd posted this a little sooner.

I just sold a like-brand-new Hyperlite Juvi 131 with Liquid Force Exo Suction bindings on Ebay. I bought it for my girlfriend who's 5'2", 107 lbs. She rode it twice but decided she really prefers wakeskating. So I sold the board and bought her a Liquid Force Melissa 41.

Check out the HL Juvi. Its a perfect board for a petite girl.

my wife rides a Hyperlite Divine 128 with Vargas boots. lightweight board for her, as she is only 5'2" and 110#. The boots also give great support and are made for women. I got the board at www.grizzly-sports.com

hope this helps in your search.

Also try to get a little longer board than she needs, it tends to help beginners balance more when they have a longer board.

I would go with Dallas Fridays old board The Vixon 132, 60lbs-160lbs or the Hyperlite Divine 119, riders up to 105 lbs.

25Lsv, don't get a board just because a certain pro rides it....

Here is a Hyperlite Divine package and a Cadence board. I have been really pleased with Evogears service and the prices were good compared with the other mens products that I could find.

Justin25,

Surely, just because a Pro rides a board, doesn't make the board fit the riding style of my daughter. We have looked at the specs on the Vixen and other boards and we narrowed our choices to those that have the specs that we choose to be most significant to us. We have narrowed our choices to Demo the two or three selected boards to validate the actual application fit.

Now let's be honest, if your 13 yrs old and your favorite Pro is riding a certain board... it's going to be her first choice....

I appreciate the reminder....
