Little Trick I learnt in Nam...

Joking about the Nam part, but I did learn something today. All you Malibu owners out there who have a wedge. Be shure that when you are using said wedge that everyone sits in the front. As stranga as this might seem just think about it. The wedge come down at a 45 degree angle and if everyone sits in the back the back gets even more weight and then goes at an angle its self. Try putting one hand flat then the other at a angle. The flat hand is the boat. The other the wedge. When your hand is flat you can see that the wedge would create resistance and make a monster wake. But angle the boat hand and see what happens? The wedge goes flat. Just tryin to help. If I'm just wastin your time let me know. Cool

It is a good idea to move the weight around (front to back) in any boat to find what works best. And more weight up front will help any boat get out of the hole better. The angle of the wedge isn't going to change very much, but a little change may make a difference.
