Just picked up a SANTE 210 this year. Aside from the engine winterization, what additional winterization should I do to the apolstry, ballast tanks, finish, etc.

What type of wax is best on Nautiques?

Thanks!

If you have a heater and shower you will want to make sure to run some rv antifreeze through those to make sure they don't crack. I would also run some through the ballast lines.
I typically take out all of the vests and stuff so they have a chance to air out a bit during the winter. May want to take out you batteries or at lease make sure they are fully charged up. Then like you said the engine also.

batterys should be put on a trickle charger or hooked to your car battery and run it for a little once a month and dont put them on the ground put something like a wooden pallet if you remove it from the boat. where are you planning on storing it?

Years ago there was some merit to this but not any more. New materials for the battery shell make it a non-issue.

If you don't know what you are doing, have it done by the dealership or a very skilled marine mechanic (and there aren't many that know what to do with ballast systems which is why I said dealership).

Don't mess around with this yourself. Especially if your situation truly requires a real winterization. Too much at stake in this case.

I second what WakeboardReport, said. It costs a little more but they also fog the engine, change the oil and will have it ready for next season. If you haven't worked on this engine yet, you better be small or have the ability to get small.

I would also suggest charging the batteries and putting on two $5.00 float chargers. They wont charge the battery but will maintain it at the level you put the float.

I would also agree that if you don't know what you are doing to take it somewhere and have it done. I have always done my own and never had any problems but I turned wrench for a good part of my life so I know what I am doing with that stuff.
