So I got in possibly my last ride of the year this weekend and decided to try a few T2F's. I came close on a few but it seemed as soon as I dropped my lead hand for the 180 my flip would stop. I'm just curious as to where to start the 180. Thanks. _________________

Yeah I've been thinking about trying those too. Apparently your suppose to try and over-rotate them because you lose a little of your flip rotation when throwing in the 180. At least according to Shaun Murray. _________________ Go Big. Go Bigger. Bubb Rubb going home. |

Actually also because you need to land on your toes. I've been tramping this and hopefully I can huck one out on the water. _________________

| jus try the full trick. it may slow your rotation, but you just need to pull it around and lean towards your toes a little more while coming down to land. |

| I used to be able to do that but havent landed them for a while, All i remember is I would just do a huge tantrum then switching to 180 right at the end and land in the flats, Its just like a huge hs 180 into flats |

| when i read the post above i read that you try and drop your lead hand to iniate the rotation. first off unless im doing the trick wrong i have always taken off on the T2F with one hand just like a regular tantrum....you can even lay it out like you normally do on your tantrums.....the key i have found is cutting much much harder that you do on your regular tantrum. cutting harder has always enabled me to load the line and release to get some slack in the line for the handle pass. I guess my point is that you could do the trick somewhat like a twohanded tantrum and let go with your front hand but i dont see it as being a true tantrum to fakie...correct me if im wrong? and maybe i misread your post\..for a long time when trying this trick i would pass the handle to my rear hand but i would never do the 180 rotation. I finally realized that even if i pass the handle i still need to look for the oposite shore to iniate the 180 rotation. I think or it as steps like this: Hard Egde into wake, iniate tantrum, immediately look for opposite shore (it happens very fast), then pass handle and land over your toes. --cutting harder helps you rotate more with lets you land on your toes...hope this helps? and hopeuflly it wasn't a bunch of stuff |
