The truth Hurts bad sometimes. I'm sure you've never broken a law in your life right? You're an angel, a church going girl, got straight A's, and was on the honor roll. If you did break the law you would go right to the police station and turn yourself in. Ah if everyone was like you the world would be so much better off. Glad your acrooss the boarder. Does your town have a population over 500 I'm just curios?
As to the riding restrictions yes I did forget abot the state law requirements. I'll be the first to admit that. I can accept it when I make an oversight without realizing it. But you keep going on and on about things you have no clue on. I'll jut keep letting make yourself sound dumber I have no problem with that.
I've taken plenty of law classes after H.S. as well. I didn't get to be a Sergant with only a H.S. degree.
I'm still a firm believer in IT"S ONLY ILLEGAL IF YOU GET CAUGHT. and I'm going to add to it. SO DON"T GET CAUGHT.
V_DRIVE
YOUR WELCOMED ON MY LAKE ANYTIME WE DON"T DISCRIMINATE
I'm so glad that there are no rules on my lake cause it would be a lot tougher to dodge more rules. Anyhow this is over we can both agree. We've had our shots.
And for the record that X-star is the SHIZZY FOR REEEZZY. Damn I want IT It will let me do way illegal things

ok...congrats sergeant. Glad you took some classes after highschool too. That makes it ok then for you to promote being illegal as long as the cops don't catch you. And if you are going to throw out insults like "dumber" ....try to learn some correct grammer skills. "dumber" ain't a word. Like I said before...try to make a point when you write and write with some coherent thoughts. If I'm still making myself look "dumber" oooops....I guess thats only because I didn't take all those tough 'law' classes. I do however have a college degree, teaching license, been published in professional psychology journals, have my own consulting firm, and have half of an engineering degree finished. (you brought up the classes you took, which make me look like I have no clue) right? So, I guess you are the law expert then. Sorry for thinking that I only needed to follow the laws if I thought I was going to get caught.
And I'm not sure where you got this idea that I am a chick. And no I'm not perfect and have broken plenty of laws...sometimes caught and sometimes not. I'd like to think that the things I've done weren't endangering other people. I fully agree that some laws are stupid, but I think that most of the water-laws are there for good reason. However, I am a professional and I try to act like one in public, which means trying to abide by the laws (whether I agree with them or not) and/or going about changing the laws in the correct way.
As for your comment about me "discriminating" against vdrive coming to my lake....what the hell? Wanting people on my lake to abide by state law and not put my family in danger is discrimination? You get a clue. I don't discriminate against anyone. If that is discrimination then I guess those "many, many people that you've locked up" could accuse you of the same thing right?
thanks boys, its been a real treat getting to read your insightful & eye opening philosophy on law.

I can't believe I missed this thread....it has been great!
As far as laws go, just because something is a law doesn't mean it is right, it just means you could get in trouble if you get caught. Also, there are so many laws just because of how stupid some people are. It is not that bad for people that can understand the purpose of the law and are smart enough to break it. For example, most states ban wakeboarding after sunrise. Reasons for this are noise, safety, etc.. Also, some stupid people couldn't handle driving around at night, some people shouldn't drive CARS at night. If you are smarter than these people, you can figure out why that law exists and how it applies to your lake. Like if you live on a lake surrounded by houses it would be bad to crank your stereo up and rev your engine and board at 3 am. But, if your talking about a 100ft 95,000 acres lake that you know well and you want to wakeboard out in the middle of it, that's not that bad. Of course you could get a ticket because it is technically against the law, but being the smart person you are you realize this as a possibility.
Like in the cold months when we can't aways get a third we'll go without one. It is illegal, you get a $60 ticket which we split. We probably will go 30 times like this and get one ticket, so it costs us $1 each time we go in ticket money which we gladly pay, it's worth it. The law is for people that can't handle driving and pulling and started because some dumby wumby priest got ran over by a water skiing late at night. The dumby wumby priest was swimming in the middle of the lake right before sunset. I agree the driver should not have hit him, but your an idiot to swim in the middle of the lake away from a boat or the shore, I won't even do this in the daytime... In fact, I think he would have been more likely to be mowed down by one of those cigar boats that drive around the lake fast as hell with only the driver.
r3612,
I've heard it is harder to get a motorcycle on radar/laser, is that true? I would guess that it is harder than a car but still pretty easy and that laser is easier than radar.

I couldn't agree with you more. You hit it right on the head.
We don't deal too much in radar. There are only about 08 cars in the city with it( most all downtown). There is way to much other stuff going on. We did learn that it is harder to get a readout off a motorcycles though. Reason being that it harder to get a reflection back off something that size going that fast. LAser is much more accurate and gives a much faster reading. I would say if you an above average Motorcycle driver (or pro like all the rough riders downtown) you can usually get away. Ususally. No way a squad could keep up. It sucks, but it's the cold hard truth.
V-drive
I appreciate you behaving cause I would hate to have anyone on my lake that is not behaving. I would just put my boat back on the trailer and go home cause you'd just ruin my day. I couldn't just go to another cove down the lake, that be to hard. I just leave and complain.
B4
Not letting him on your lake is discrimination. It's a free country. A little thing that you called the Constitution gives him that right. Not allowing him on it is discrimination plain and simple clear cut case. NO WHERE near the same as locking a crminal up for breaking the law. How can you even compare the two? Your half of education just keeps shining through. It shows your half of brain very well.
As to you never putting anyone's life in danger. I know you speed cause everyone does. That's putting your life and those on the road with you in danger. What happens if you crash into something or someone going fast? It's know wonder our youth is struggling they're being taught by uneducated fools oops half educated fools. We know you are a horrible teacher so I'm praying you get you engineering degree. I'm sure it's in Enviornmental I get he feeling you're one of those peace lovin hippies. I also didn't realize my grammer was being graded. I've made tons of spelling errors as well by missing a button. Man i think I still deserve a B what do you think? I got 100 bucks says that it might even deserve an A- though.
As to being the grammar queen. AIN"T ISN"T PROPER ENGLISH EITHER. You make it so easy. Our youth is definately in trouble cause of teachers like you. WOW, that's all I can say WOW

I like the boss speakers with the built-in lights. I wanted to do one of those but I think I am going to do a molded speaker box instead.

Kris you are an idiot. Just so you know, I am regarded as one of the best teachers in the state. Recognized on several different occassions so piss off. I used the word "aint" in reference to your grammer...if you had half a brain you would have picked up on that.... you keep referencing my engineering degree in progress. I have another degree finished. How much education do you have? Any degree at all? oh yeah....those super-tough cop-law classes that allow you to forget state boating laws right. You are a joke....

Calair,
I have had a summer home down there since I was born. Been almost 3 generations. We'll have to hook up sometime. What district dose the guy u know work in. It's a big department, but really tight in most districts.
Wakeboy
It is next to springfield imagine that!!

I have just passed bar so I think I have plenty of education. Got it for free cause the CITY PAID 100%. What is this a battle of educations now? Just cause you have a degree doesn't mean you're smart! It's a piece of paper. I have them believe me(job requires it now), but that piece of paper dosn't just make you smart. Don't hate me cause you're dumber than me. If you're the best teacher in the state everyone over there should get the #$%% out ASAP. They are getting dumber by the minute. I thought Chicago Public School teachers were bad, but you make them look like they work for NASA. Recognized on several different ocassions....For what? Being the least qualified!!

My wife is from Centralia. We go there about 5 times a year and I have been to Rend Lake a few times. Do you know of a guy in the CPD by the name of Jim Wynn. He is a fraternity brother of mine.

Are there a lot of Wakeboarding Boats in Southern Ill.? I have only seen big pontoons and jetskis and a bunch of big a** cabin cruisers. I thought that I could make a killing opening up a dealership down there with all the lakes.

| Hey v-drive that crap about those who cant teach is a load of BS. Im gettting ready to be junior in college and I am majoring in mathematics education with a specializtion in computer science, as well as minoring in computer programming. I could get an engineering degree in computer science here at NC State in about 2-3 more semesters. I take all the math and computer science classes engineers take, just no labs and no statics. For you to say that those who cant teach really pisses me off. Im not bragging or anything, but i could have majored in anyting here at state with my gpa and SAT coming in, but I chose my current major for the rewards of being happy at my job. I enjoy working with people and teaching. I also want to be a baseball coach. So dont bash a someone becuz they chose something they love to do, and not something just because it pays more( no offense to anyone who does love their profession that isnt a teacher).

Cal Air,
We are one of the few boats on our lake on a consistant basis. Every now and then there maybe a total of 5. There was us and a sport Nauty that were out pretty much every weekend. Not very many boats at all. We'd get tons of propositions for rides from the recreational riders (peops with their k- mart stuff). Always glad to give them a ride. Gotta start somewhere. I'd say over 3/4 of the boats we ran into and peops had no clue what we were doing. That was there first time seeing a wakeboarder or boat for that matter. Ocaissionally we'd see 3 or 4 bu's from MO. that came over. It still really hard to come by down there. I don't mind at all, a lot of open coves for us. I think the reason is because there are no houses on our lake at all. Keeps the lake population down and the lake pretty clean. Most people live on houseboats and Cabin cruises so they just go to party cove and hang out. We live as close as you can about 1/2 to the marina. LAke gets rough around the afternoon when the cruisers and cigaretts come out to see who's penis' are bigger. We just go into our secret place then. Usually the only boat. LAst year though the 2 bu's follwed us so I let them in on the secret place. It's big enough for all of us as long as the lake is at normal pool. There are a couple of smaller lakes arond there that have way more wakeboard boats like lake decatur, and this other lake in greenville can't remember the name though, but on the weekends those places are crowded as hell as are most lakes with houses on them. The only negative about having a lake with very few riders is that there is no one to push you. Ya know? It's usually the same 6 guys with us along ith some ladies. Me my younger bro and a couple of our freinds. The big positive of course is that we look like BA's cause noone is showing us up. Gotta love that. As someone said in another post "It's all about the girls in the stuffed bikini's watchin)
So please Noone good come to our lake cause you'll take all our women!!!
During the week the lake is a ghost town only retired peops who fish. It's a great fishing lake. Plenty of area to go not to ruin there morning though. To me they want to fish so I can go to another spot. Although my cousin who's a pro fisherman says that he follows boats in the morning cause the stir up the bottom and the bait floating around and says it actually brings more fish to the surface. He' caught his biggest fish doing that. He said anyone who knows anything about REAL fishing wouldn't mind the ocaissional drive by at all.

Yea I must admit that there was a large amount of "sport floaters" on Rend. The people there must wonder what the hell a roll bar is doing on top of a boat. It is amazing how some places like SoIll have no wakeboarders with all of those lakes.

Lights are worth the money especially when you get a ticket for turning them on at night while driving. Not only do they blind oncoming vessels, but the light reflects back at you when driving.Full moon=WFO

Hey Kris....VDrive.....
I had forgotten about this post and just re-read it today....lol you guys should get together this summer. Maybe you jerk-offs will kill each other and the rest of us will have a little less to worry about.
Seems to me that most of the other posts here support me in saying that light bars are pointless for the general public and using them at night is stupid. So, yeah...you two must be the brilliant ones who are so far above the law that the rest of us should bow down. Haha.... mkcarte2 and rollinphat are right on.
Kris.....you just passed the bar?? lol. Ok. You just passed the bar....and yet it "slipped" your mind that riding after dark on public waterways is illegal. LOL....and you think education is in trouble...Shoot...how about law enforcement?
Sorry to be bringing this back up again...but you two idiots just make me laugh. Its too hard not to respond. Teachers teach because we love to work with people. You could not do my job if you had 1000 degrees. I know a degree doesn't mean stuff. But like mkarte2, I had SAT & IQ scores to go to ANY school and major in ANYTHING I wanted. I chose to teach children. V-drive...have you really stooped to making fun of the quote at the end of my posts? You can't come up with anything better than that?
By the way, I did print this out and let several students and teachers read and make comments about it. That was a good idea. Without knowing the identity of any of the screen names. Guess which two idiots were identified as such by everyone who read this little thread..... lol..... good luck fellas.

I definately would get together with him anytime. He'd be way more fun to ride with than whiny beotch like you. I could be anything I want I got great SAT scores blah blah blah it's all talk, woulda shoulda coulda. You are just a plain genious, smartest person this side of the Mississippi I'm sure.....in you're mind of course. Those kids are already brainwashed with your stupidity so there is obviously no hope for them.
As to your forgetting about the law comment. As I said before several times, we don't have to worry about it, CAUSE THERE AIN"T A BUNCH OF WHINY BEOTCHES LIKE YOU ON IT....it's a great place to ride. We don't even have to see another boat on my lake if we don't want to. So trust me we're not endangering anyones life. I know, I know I'm endangering everyone's on my boat right? Wrong at no time would we feel in any kind of danger riding at that time. Just cause you don't trust your skills enough to do it doesn't mean other skilled people should have to suffer!
The law only has problems because of cry babies like you wanting us to solve all your little problems for you while we should be out doing police work.

Naw,
I'll be there. So I'm sure B4 won't because it would be a very unsafe enviornment with me on the water. No one would be able to have a good time!!
How'd things go on sunday? PM if you want. I'm curious to know what went down and your thoughts on the people there. I have a few of my own I'll share with you. Hope it went well and I want to get some info like prices and things on your gear if you could mail me something or have a website let me know.
