okay which board would you recommend for me the shane bonifay or the PS3(by the looks i like this one more), which one is better and why?

i want to be able to get good air, but i really want something that is great for inverts and spins

right now i am riding a beg./ intermidiate CWB Sol and i know it is time to upgrade so which board of these boards should i get, or is there another one i should get

also why are bindings so expensive i mean do they help you that much more

Personally, I'd hit the PS3. I've ridden one before and I like the way it tracks. I haven't ridden the shane. Either of the boards should help you just fine as far as tricks go. I'm doing some inverts and 360s on a fairly entry-level board so it's all how you ride it.

Bindings... You get what you pay for unless it's Liquid Force Wink You're paying for better materials and support. They will be expensive.

i havent ridden either boards but i definately agree with qnev on LF bindings. i have a pair of alpha's and they are the most comfortable, supportive bindings ever. Very Happy

jakenj, Easier to ride than all of the above. I have it and love it. The best by far. Pops High, lands soft, rides fast and controllable.

I've been riding the PS3 all summer and love it. My brother in law has the Watson and I've been putting off riding it because I didn't want to like it. He tore his ACL and his boards been sitting in my boat and he's been telling me to ride it. Strapped my binding to it last week and it is a really sweet ride. I thought the pop was actually very similar, PS3 is faster and the Watson was a little looser. You couldn't go wrong with either. I'm keeping my PS3 because I do like a faster board and the Watson for next year is just too ugly to switch. Wink

I'll ask him and wouldn't be suprised if he was interested. He's out of town but should be able to get a hold of him sometime this weekend. It's probably only been ridden 5 times. It's a 138.

There is no answer to the question "which board is better." There are always waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many variables. They are both great boards. If you want to know which one is looser, faster, has more pop etc....go their website. Everyone has their personnel preference so don't ask "what board is better?" cause like I said, there is no answer.

jakenj, try going to your local boardshop and asking them if you can demo those two, because it's all up to personal preference. We can't come here and tell you which is better because it's your preference, not ours...

okay guys thanks for all your help i think i am going to take yalls advice and just stick with the board i've got, there is nothing wrong with it

yet still needing help.... i just got a new rope and the shortest i can come in with is is 70ft and with my old rope i rode at like 60ft. i know i am getting alot more air today(the first time riding at 70ft) but i am out of control in the air which i think is due to more line tension, how long do yall think it will be till i stop going outta control and being able to do some actual tricks
