So I have been doing surface 180's really well so I have been trying to do 360's. I just can't seem to get all the way around though. What am I doing wrong?? I just keep hitting the back edge. _________________ Screw work I am going WAKEBOARDING!!!!!!! |

I agree with MinnesotaBoarder. Start out doing them at about 15-16 mph until you get them down. I also think that doing them frontside (turning towards your toeside edge) is easier than backside. What I do for 3's is start out with your hands as far apart on the handle as they'll go. Keep the handle as close to your hips as possible. Let go with your back hand and start your rotation. Think about leaning away from the boat the whole time or you'll catch your heelside edge. Think of the handle as a batton (like in track) that you are trying to pass to yourself behind your back. After you get the handle pass, let go with your other hand and complete your rotation. Hope it helps. _________________ Whoever coined the term "Near Beer" was a very poor judge of distance... |

See I am learning to wakeboard on a old ski boat. Like 1970's old. So there is no RPM gauge or no Spedometer. So I have no idea how fast I am going. We just go till we think that it is ok. But I will try going lockwise this time. I normally try counter clockwise. _________________ Screw work I am going WAKEBOARDING!!!!!!! |

| pick_bikerider, depends what foot forward you are. Right foot forward, clockwise is easier. Left, counterclockwise. |

Wait till you are at you peak
keep working it,
but also work on something else, you will only beat yourself up half as much and progress on 2 things at once
I wasted alot of tome on the 3, should have also been working ont the roll and tantrum,
good idea to also try it blindside as suggested |

pick_bikerider, what foot forward are you? And you should be going like 10-13, and like MinnesotaBoarder said, the wake should be washy. Then as your going around to where the back edge is facing the boat put more weight on your toes. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |
