First of all, i love writing reveiws, so whenever i can write one, I will.
Today, I had the chance to demo a brand spanking new 2007 VLX. Not much has changed in appearence, but i did enjoy the asthetically pleasing stainless steal malibu emblum on the transom. The swim platform is new, black with silver stripping marking the anniversary. Performance wise, i was pleased, power turns were on the dime with little to no boat lean. Acceleration was impressive and top speed was very acceptable. The rockford sound system is good looking and impressive sounding. Ballast, all 1260 pounds helped shape one of the biggest and most defined wakes ive seen. The wake can be tuned, and at first i thought the wedge only added a bit of lip or definition, i was wrong, the wake went from huge and rampy/mellow with the ballast and wedge down all the way, to something looking like a huge quarter pipe on each side when the wedge was moved up half way. What really astonished me was the rough water conditions, the test lake was chopped up from wind, and VLX was a nice comparisson to a smooth riding rolls royce. The 340 monsoon was quite enough power even when fully weighted with 8 people. The surf wake with wedge deployed, rear right ballast and the 8 people was ridiculous, huge and extended 15 feet back. All in all, im amazed and impressed with the 07 VLX. If you have any questions regarding this boat, message me. |

How much is malibu paying you? I'm just playing yeah I got to ride behind an 07 the other day, It was just like my 05, like I expected, but the tiny little malibu tag on the transom takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, bu is out of wedges, so I didn't get to experience the new free-floating design. _________________

The VTX is one sick looking boat. |
Don't forget the seldom used "L" before X and right after "V" in VLX rule. |

| I just test drove & rode behind my first Malibu last week & I am sold. It had the manual wedge & I really loved the boat but I can't make up my mind whether I should buy the 06 or order an 07 for a little more with the power wedge. |

| the power wedge is crazy, you can change the angle of the whole boat while driving, we were going 20 with the wedge down, then lifted it half way and the bow came right up and the wake litterally became like a quarter pipe |

That's a shame, because you suck at writing them. One word, paragraphs.
Also I find it ridiculous how much you exaggerate, I don't even understand why. _________________ wakeboards

I never said anything about being better than anyone, I said it's ridiculous how much you exaggerate. Whats the point?
Sorry that you're not in the mood right now, that's really too bad. _________________ wakeboards

| It had to be the power wedge since he mentioned how the wake changed between the wedge being all the way down and half way up. You can't adjust a free-floating wedge. |

Hahaha
the review sounded like a water ski magazine test. Just one big advertisment. I've never seen a perfect boat and I'm pretty confident that I never will. The VLX I was in last year cerntainly didn't have a surf wake that you could surf 15 feet back . Not that it was bad but it certainly didn't hold a candle to a Tige or Centurian surf wake. Let me guess, you bought the boat without driving or riding behind any other brand right?
When I bought my boat last year, I stuck with the same manufacturer as I had before but at least I tested and drove 5 other brands before I bought it. It's not perfect but it did the things I wanted it to do IMO better than any of the boats I tested... |

Yea as stated before, what you wrote is not really a review. You failed to mention anything which needed improvements or which you didnt care for. Also you sound like a really bad sales rep. Also, you are still a tool, not sure why I just know you are. _________________ stay clean, like me
