Im 14 5'4 and 130 pounds what size board should I get and if there are any tips for a newbie like feel free to share. Thanks...

135-137 I'd say.

No dont get a 135-137, i have a 136 and im 5'11 145. You hould get a 130-132

Really? I'm 5'6 and 115 and i can ride my 137 just fine. Plus he's fourteen, and if he grows three inches in a year he'd still be able to ride a 135-137. Oh well, that was the logic behind my answer. Laughing

i'd say a 132ish, but you still have a lot of growing so unless you want to buy a new board next year, you might wanna get a 135-137.
I'm pretty sure that height doesn't make as much of a difference as weight though, except maybe for foot placement.

I'm 6'4 and 190Lbs and I ride a 141

For a beginner (and if you're still growing) a board too big is better than one too small. There's also width and rocker height to consider, too.

yea i would listen with justin and go for the bigger board because you are almost garunteed to grow...im 5'7'' 165lbs and i ride a 141 but i got it when i was 15 yrs old so i was about 145lbs so definitley go with the bigger board

definately a 136, better than a 132 because you have room to grow and wont have to buy a new board next season Cool
