I tried one of these for the first time so i can learn Roll to blind. I cut in as hard as i normally do for a backroll and i did the roll and kept right on rotating and landed on my head upside down. know i can see how some people can do double backrolls. As for Shapiros speedball i can't figure that one out.

Mexican rolls are fun. People say they look sloppy, but I don't think so. I can do backrolls normal and Mexican...

Have you tried grabbing it. On my second attempt i grabbed Indy no problem. An Indy Mexi-roll is a smooth looking easy trick.

I think the mexi-roll looks way better than a reg back roll cause the stlye of your body position plus the fact that you grab these more original and tweak them out. I give props to huge mexi-rolls.

The only people who think they are sloppy are the ones who can't figure out how to throw a backroll a different way. I consider them two totally different tricks, cuz they are.
Well for me anyway, I throw my regular backroll like a reverse HS front flip(tip over tail) Mexi-roll is definately rail over rail.
So really a regular HS backroll is like a Hs backflip. Thats the way i see it. I'm sure the NAZIS will come for me on this one but i won't change my mind.

a mexi roll is similar to a tantrum but you rotate the opposite way. Instead of throwing your head back, you pop and throw it forwards. Its kind of like a Heelside, toeside backroll.... Shocked

Actually, a mexiroll has no similarities to a Tantrum whatsoever. What are you smoking?

Ok - I do my backrolls tip over tail ...

Is a mexi-roll rail to rail, like on a double back roll??

I posted a question on Wrapped KGB and someone responded that I need to do the backroll part Mexi style. That doesn't seem right to me.

Someone care to comment? I hate to get the wind knocked out of me for no reason.

Well you come in heelside for it, the same as a tantrum, then the rotation is just forward instead of backwards right? Or am I wrong?

rob for mexi rolls just pop a nice w2w heelside and as you leave the wkae throw your head down and try to look under the handle, for a regular roll stand tall and edge away from the boat as you leave the wake.

All you do is keep the board on edge all the way up the wake and keep the board outside your lead hip off the lip. You rotate so fast it's hard not land this trick(unless you over rotate)

ALOT of females may do ther backrolls like this, and without a grab or a rotation it is pretty much the easiest invert. But who the hell does Mexi-rolls up and down the lake?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!?

Krashr31, my friend does. This is all he does. He can't ride switch, and can't land a ts wakejump for stuff. I dunno... he just kind of cut ahead in the progression line.
actually, it's kinda sad... Neutral
