I have been working on a tantrum and I’m getting all the way over and landing on the board put just can’t ride out of it. It seems like I’m always looking at the water when I landing, is their a better spot that I should be looking for. 2nd thing is where should the board be pointing (at the back of the boat or out towards the flats). Do I want to absorb the landing and keep riding into the flats or straiten my legs and stay where I land.
Thanks for all the input |

you never want to land with your legs straight.. try absorbing the landing by bending your knees. either way the board is facing will work and generally you want to look in the direction you are moving. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

lean back against the rope, itl hold you up. You want to be looking at the water because you need to spot your landing. The question is whether or not your're under rotating. Make sure you get a nice trip, dont try to flip too early. Once you're airborne, try to tuck your knees to your chest and keep your head back to spot the landing. The biggest problem I had was that I was too impatient to rotate and tripped too soon, thus reducing pop, and busting my a$$. Just remember to wait for the trip... _________________ "I just want something more than to come home in my cool looking SUV, sit in my king sized leather recliner and watch reality television on my widescreen plasma TV...How easy it is to care for someone when you dont have anything else..." |
