I have gotten the begenner tricks down and am starting to do 360s and want to try some inverts the next time i go out. I was wondering if its time to get a tower or am i ok with out a tower. I just ride behind an 18 foot bravo its not really a wake boat but it puts off an ok wake.

do u use a pylon now? gettin up and gettin air on a tower are alot easier then a pylon or extended pylon because its higher up, thus pulling you to a higher even point

when connected to the back of the boat, the boat pulls you down and forward as you are trying to go up! Your kind of fighting the boat. A tower makes a big difference as you are connected up high.

It doesn't pull you up, it just doesn't pull you down. With the rope coming off the back of the boat it should only get challenging when you're 4-5 feet in the air and the rope is kind of pulling you down. Having the rope higher up doesn't pull you up, it just makes it so you're not getting pulled down.

All other things being equal, a tower would probably help get you into the flats. The important thing to remember is that a tower will not get you to jump higher (that comes from pop off the wake) it will just keep you in the air longer, because there is no downward force (or relatively little downward force if you can jump higher than the tower...this does not apply to me Confused )

You do not need a tower to do 360's or inverts. Dont waste money on a tower. Unless you have it and want to spend it on something. Towers do not help you that much. If your bad behind a boat without a tower, you will be bad behind a boat with a tower. For the most part anything you can do behind a tower boat you can do behind a towerless boat.

dude, Oasis137, is right u dont need a tower to do flips or spins. if u want height, it all depends on ur progressive edge form. the wake will help but whats the point of having a nice wake with a bad form. so what i say is just go balls to the wall and just do them. peace

if you got the money to blow, a tower would be a very wise decision. We found that out with my friends boat. not only does it pull you higher, it works as ballast as well. Cool

Gets all the stuff out of the boat Very Happy No more tripping on wakeboards.

Sorry couldn't help. But that's what the biggest benefit of my tower has been.

Also how tall would it be and would i use aluminum or steel. R there any other things i should keep in mind while building one like where to place it on the boat?
