| it really depends on the product and year, they both have lots of good stuff, and they both have not so good stuff, it's hard to go company versus company |

| personally i like hyperlite, not saying obrien sucks, they both have there pros and cons. |

Obrien for the price, Hyperlite for the stickers. They have much better window stickers.  |

the tide is changing, now that all their riders left, Hyperlite just hasn't been up to snuff, although they have a lifetime warranty. Obrien isn't the best either, but given the choices it is better than Hyperlite, I would go with liquid force, or wait until the Ronix stuff comes out

| Had an Obrien 143 Custom, now ride a HL Drive 139. The HL is a much better board. Of course they're not in the same class either. |
