hey everyone i am new to the forum, whats up.

heres my issue, i can land tantrums pretty consistent, but i have trouble with getting the perfect balance of big air and rotation. it seems like one of two things happen for me:

1- i go pretty big but end up rotating too slow and either bail, or a real sketchy landing.

2- i rotate nice and fast but dont get a real good pop off the wake, and end up more like this gif i made...

(this one is actually one of my better balanced ones)

I have tried grabbing it indy in order to be more tucked on the roll, but that usually just throws me off.

any help is appreciated, i cant wait to land that perfect one with huge air and good rotation

peace

Frankly, I don't think you should be complaining about that tantrum. Looks pretty good.

oh i dont really remember, it was last summer and it took me several days out on the boat to become comfortable with it, the takeoff was wierd for me to learn as it is a "trip flip" and i was used to regular backrolls, for which i was used to edging all the way through the wake.

so i would say it took me at least a month of going a few times a week, i dont know exactly the number of tries

I kinda have the same problem as you and i'm just starting to find the balance as well. I got them pretty dialed now though.

P.S. I landed my tantrum on my third try and i fully rotated the first two, I just cased the wake. Backroll took me forever though. Tanny's came much more naturally, and I dunno why I can't even backflip off a dock.
