|
|
| I am thinking about getting a cheap jet ski for next summer and being I live very close to the ocean, I was thinking about trying wakeboarding in the ocean carving up waves. I saw an article on it a few yrs ago and it looked pretty cool. Has anyone tried this? I don't even know if it would work, I could imagine it would be a pain to pick someone up if they fall in the breakers. |

It would be sweet to hairpin at 30, cut to the outside, let go and fly off a huge wave That could hurt _________________

| I live on Long Island, NY and the waves have around 4ft faces on average. I wonder how high you could get cutting in and popping hard off a face or back of the wave. If its a 4-5ft tall face...who knows. |

| Danny Harf does this in a video, I forget which one, and I'm sure there are other riders too, I just distinctly remember seeing Danny do it in a vid. |

watch shock and awe. Yes, it can be done, but its not something just anyone can do. im sure itd be really hard. i think there's a guy luanching off of a wave off a wave too. your driver would have to be really good, and you would have to be really good. give it a shot though! |

| I figure I will give it a try I have wanted a jet ski for awhile anyway. I'm nothing special at wakeboarding. I can clear the wake and get 5ft of height and do some 180s. I only started seriously wakeboarding a few weeks ago and I have to say wakeboarding is one of the most fun sports I have ever done. |
