i know there are tons of tantrum posts so hopefully this will clarify some of what i've read on them...
it always says to let go with your back hand right before the wake and it feels like you trip off the wake? i'm not sure what that means or how to do it? i've also read to transfer your weight from your hs to ts right before you go off the wake? how does jumping work then? whenever i square the board up i don't get much air but if i don't then i do some freaky weird half flip thing that doesn't feel very good as you can tell i'm not real good and don't ride with anyone that can even go w2w so whatever i learn is from you guys and experimenting...any tips or explanations would be awesome. Thanks |

| When you are learning a tantrum you want to take a really agressive approach. in other words, cut out pretty far, and cut back in hard. once you get to the bottom of the wake and about a foot in front of it, drop your rear hand, turn your body so you are parallel with the wake, and pop the flip around. If you do this correctly and all in one fluid motion, you should feel your heelside edge literally get "tripped" off the top of the wake. |

yep i can go w2w...i was working on backrolls for a while and finally got it so now i'm gonna try tantrums and then compare which i think is easier...but yeah i can go out into the flats fairly easily...why do you ask? _________________ It has just occured to me that nothing has occured to me recently. |
