Rubbermaid Cement Ballast?

I saw this in a magazine but i lost the article. Can anyone tell me how to do this there was a specific way to do it.. thanks

i have no idea what it is but just by your title i would say
buy a 20gal rubbermaid bucket and fill it with cement. then throw it in the back of the boat.

the buckets could be bought for $6 at walmart and i would say a few bags of quickcrete would do the job.

i'm not sure how much it would weigh.
