Saw Danny Harf's setup on wakeworld.com wakestock pics. Does anyone know anything about this company?

gnar420, RONIX wakeboards is a new upcoming company started by the Paul and Herb O'Brien, the same people who originally started the Hyperlite company.

They are no longer with Hyperlite and have started RONIX, they dont have any official product out yet, they will most likely show off there stuff at the upcoming surf expo in sept, so i've read.

Probably around November'ish you will get to see most of there line on there website.

hyperlite58, chad sharpe, danny harf, parks bonifay and emily durham-copeland are all riders for ronix wakeboards, they are no longer with hyperlite.

and ive yet to see anything offcial but i think Adam Errington is also riding for ronix aswell

LakeIolaLuke, i meant weekend. Instead of going to surf expo they are hanging out at odub because they are core and they want to meet all the other core riders out there.

chavez, true.. i didnt think about that. but here i am contributing to this useless thread when i could have buckled down, found that darn search button (that i think waldo must have invinted, danm thing is so hard to find) and just looked at earlier threads.

I think Hyperlite might lose some hype. Seeing has Parks is such faveorite by the fans (I personally don't like him)

adam errington won nationals today in junior mens and he had his ronix board but i didnt take a picture of it.

At first, I thought that Adam's board was Ronix's roam type board. It looks like polished wood. And I looked at Danny's and Chad's bindings up close yesterday, and they look like the comfiest bindings ever. They look more like snowboard boots that LF's closed toe.

These are the same people that designed the hyperlite boards.. there can't be much differance in the boards other than the name.

I too had a chance to check out the Ronix boards at Nationals over the weekend.

The cool thing was that Adam and Chad were all about letting you pick them up, flip them over take some pics what ever.

One of the main things I notice is the Profile of the board is a lot thinner and even moreso at the tip and tail.

I had a chance to see what looks like the Harf and Errington board up close last Saturday. A local pro is riding for Ronix now and had the board at the dock. It's nearly identical to my wife's Hyperlite Blur. It seems like a refinement of that shape, clearly a carry-over from Hyperlite. Even the tip/tail triangle shape is nearly identical to the Blur/Drive.

I know this is their first board, but it's more evolution than revolution.
