i've been teaching some friends (mostly girls) how to wakeboard this summer. i can give them plenty of instruction to get up and turn the board parallel, but i don't know what to tell them when the wobble. the board just moves back and forth, and they can't get it under control. from one edge to the other, until one catches. what can i tell them to stop the wobble???

mwb

Sounds like they are plowing instead of getting pulled over the board. Girls, especially the tiny ones, usually roll right over and pop up.

the board might be too big for them.. but if it's not just tell them to relax, lean back, and bend their knees. if that doesn't work, you could try slowing the boat down a little until they're more comfortable.

And then once they get there balance set tell them to hang out with both hands to get used to that stance. And if they feel like there about to lose it let go with there back hand again to balance themselves out. But make sure all their riding isnt like this.
