|
|
Hey everyone.
I am 5'7" and weigh 130 pounds. I am looking at getting a new board, and am undecided between a HP Motive 134 and a HP State 135. I know the 135 says 145lbs. and up, but the Motive 134 IS in my size range and it's only a cm shorter, so I am wondering if i should get the State board and is it going to be too large for me. Also, does the State board, which has a 3 stage rocker, really get a lot more pop than the Motive Continuous rocker?
Please help me. |

| you'll be fine with either boards.. if you can, try to demo them both and see which one you like better, that's the only way you'll know. |

size is just a recommendation. ride what's comfortable on the water and in the air. IMO, small boards are harder to control on the water and big boards are hard to controll in the air. Oh yeah, get a LF watson, if you can find one. It's way better than both the other boards _________________

| I am 6ft tall and i ride a 140 state. I really like it... it gets good pop and it is easy to edge. |

The size won't matter and it will get more pop but edging is easier on shorter boards. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

| it probably won't make that much of a difference. I'm 5ft and 90lbs and i ride a 134, its probably a little big for me but you u get used to the feel and how to control it. |

Try the state 130. The smaller the board the quicker it will respond. The 3 stage bottom will give you more pop. _________________ In God We Trust
