Great day on the lake check it out

my first attempts i got around ever time but i kept slipping out or getting yanked when i landed but....

this is my ninth attempt at a backroll Smile

http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g71/thekpan/?action=view&current=100_0404.flv

then this is my thirtenth attempt

http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g71/thekpan/?action=view&current=100_0409.flv

yeah i am quite proud it only took my twenty minutes, especially after hearing learn 180's and w2w before you try inverts 30 times in my other post.. haha and that "suicide" in the first one is a thing me and my friend do we think its funny.

feel free to leave tips or any advice

peace

Awesome. I don't think my old ass will ever be able to land inverts. Right now I'm just honing my surface tricks and trying to lane a W2W 180. Cool Cool Cool

You might want to hone in your progressive edging skills. You shouldn't have to cut from that far out to do your back roll and it leads you to do a really low and fast backroll. I am working on mine right now and found that i had to go back and really get my progressive edge solid to the point where i could get sufficient air from an 8-10 foot cut so the back rool would be slower and higher. I have been pulling some nice back rools and riding off just can't get the handle to want to stay with me. If anyone has some tips on keeping the handle with you let me know. It feels like the boat jerks it out of my hand in mid air.
