The album is mostly recorded. The new singer is nailing the vocals like crazy. He sounds enough like Brett to cover the old songs but unique enough to add something new to Fuel's sound. From what I heard, the record is going to ROCK. I have also heard there is a likely hood that the rest of this year may see them doing southern states radio show concerts. So you guys that live in the south will be in luck. The new guy is an 'unknown" and was never in a touring band before. So he's pretty excited to get going with Fuel.

Yo! Ladies and Gentlemen, it has begun! We are officially in the studio! We have just entered The Chop Shop with Scott Humphrey in LA.
We have been pouring over the tracks and selecting which ones make the cut. Lots to choose from and we are all getting stoked gearing up for the next round. Scott's place is totally wired and the recording should go fairly quickly. Josh Freese will be laying the drum tracks. Stay tuned and let everyone know that release number 4 is officially underway! Wtf!? He went from a gig as lead singer in a band that has sold 4 million albums, to being a bassist in a band that has 75 people in the crowd at a concert? He must have fücked up royally in Fuel.. _________________ WB.com will never be the same... You will never be forgotten Leggester.

| He was just ready for something new, that's all. Why do alot of great bands have members go there seperate ways? Not always because of personal differences, which this wasn't, but just for something new. Some people just want a change. I hope he finds what he's looking for. |

| I dunno what to expect without them having Brett in the band. I think the only remaining members are the guitarist and bassist. I met Brett one night in Memphis cause we ran into him downtown - my uncle was friends with him. He was a really cool guy. |

| Carl Bell and Jeff Abercrombie are Fuel and the owners of Fuel Corp. They had God Smacks drummer on thier last tour as a hired drummer only. Not sure how the new singer will fit in all this. But I'm certainly looking foward to hearing the new material. Carl's had a lond time to write the new songs. |

Darin,
Carl wrote most of the songs anyhow, right? Didn't Brett Scallions just sing? |

| Brett did write at least one song on the Something Like Human album. I think it was "Knives". But yeah, Carl writes the songs and makes the money. However, Jeff should have a couple or at least one on the new album. Writing is where the money is. Touring is good money no doubt, but after the tours over and they are still playing your song across the country, yeah baby. Also, Carl has songs on a few movie soundtracks. Not sure how much that pays, but it has to be pretty good. One of Fue's best songs, Wont Back Down is on the DareDevil soundtrack. I believe they have a song on the Godzilla movei, and I heard on in a movie that Mandy Moore was in. Wifes ideal to rent that one by the way. |

Its second hand information, but I have a friend who is auditioning for the band that the drummer went to. The bassist and guitarist from Live are supposed to be in it. The name is "Fosterchild".
Again, this isnt from a reputable source, he told me himself. First he said that he was trying out for Fuel, then I saw this post and asked him, thats when he came up with the stuff about the other band.
We shall see. |
